The March event calendar in Lake Havasu is packed with everything from a farmers market and live theatre performances, to motorcycle races and concerts. And on April 6, the Laughlin Bullhead Airshow at the Laughlin Bullhead International Airport, just 65 scenic miles from Lake Havasu City, promises to provide a day of thrills and excitement.

How about a day trip along iconic Route 66? This adventure starts at Topock66 resort on the Colorado River. From here the old highway skirts Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, and then begins a scenic climb from the River Valley into the rugged Black Mountains.

Enhance your road trip with a program, Dawn of The Great American Road Trip, by acclaimed author, historian and humorist Jim Hinckley, creator of Jim Hinckley’s America. Scheduled for 1:00, March 16, the program sponsored by Sounds of Kingman takes place at the Kingman Chamber of Commerce on Beale Street.

Round out a day of adventure with a visit to Hualapai Mountain Resort in Hualapai Mountain Park. Located just 12 miles from Kingman, the resort restaurant located in a pine forested oasis high in the Hualapai Mountains offers fine dining with picturesque views.

And if your a fan of hiking or mountain biking, our campground is located near some of the most exciting trail systems in the southwest. Six trails, some kid friendly, lead to historic sites, scenic wonders, and natrue areas.

There is also an extensive trail system in Hualapai Mountain Park. And two urban trail systems at Kingman, White Cliffs Wagon Road and Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area.
